Free Casino Trip Planned for March 7

The Fort Morgan Recreation Department is offering a free casino trip to Black Hawk on March 7 for adults age 21 and up.

The bus will depart from the Senior Center at 8:30 a.m. and leave
Black Hawk for the return trip at 3:30 p.m. The registration deadlineis Feb. 24.<_o3a_p>

City Cemetery to Start Spring Cleanup Soon

The Fort Morgan Cemetery will be starting its annual Spring Cleanup on Monday, March 13, so cemetery patrons are asked to remove all decorations not secured to the foundation of gravesites in the cemetery before Sunday, March 12.

Under City of Fort Morgan
cemetery policy, any decorations or other items remaining around the foundationof the gravesite after that date will be removed by cemetery personnel.

Prizes for Winter Reading to be Awarded March 8

Everyone who participated in the Fort Morgan Public Library’s Winter Reading Program is invited to the program’s prize giveaway on Wednesday, March 8.

Children and adults who

Sign Up Now for Adult Co-Ed Volleyball Tourney

An Adult-Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament for players age 16 and older is signing up teams now through the Fort Morgan Recreation Department.

The tournament is
scheduled for Saturday, March 18, at a location to be determined. Theregistration fee is $90 per team until the Early Bird registration deadline of
March 3. The final registration deadline is March 10 for a team fee of $105.<_o3a_p>

Fort Morgan Police Set Up Medication Drop Box

The Fort Morgan Police Department has established an official safe disposal site for unused or expired household medications in the lobby of the FMPD building at 901 E. Beaver Ave.
