1. How do I apply for a job opening?

2. How do I submit my job application?

Submit your completed job application:
1. By delivery in person to the Human Resources Dept. at Historic City Hall, 110 Main St. in Fort Morgan;
2. By mail to Human Resources, P.O. Box 100, Fort Morgan, CO 80701;
3. By fax to Human Resources at (970) 542-3976; or
4. By scan and email to Human Resources. Human Resources Dept. Info.

3. Can I apply for a position that is not currently advertised?

We only accept applications for current, posted job openings. Job Openings

4. How do I find out about the status of my job application?

For most year-round positions, you will either receive a phone call requesting an interview, or you will receive a letter or email message notifying you that you were not selected (please allow several weeks from the application deadline). For seasonal positions, if you do not receive a phone call for an interview, it means you have not been selected. Human Resources Dept.

6. How do I file a property or liability claim against the City?

The City of Fort Morgan is governed in the area of property/liability claims by the provisions of the Colorado Revised Statutes. Statute 24-10-109 requires that you place the City of Fort Morgan on written notice of your intent to pursue a claim. 7. Will you keep my application "on file" in order to consider me for future openings?

You must submit a new application each time you apply for a position. The only exception is the Police Department, which does maintain a file of applicants for a period of time. Human Resources Dept.
