Assistant City Attorney
The City Attorney Office for the City of Fort Morgan, Colorado is seeking candidates for a fulltime entry level Assistant City Attorney position. Fort Morgan is located one hour Northeast of Denver with a population of 12,000. Starting salary $44,784 to $52,704 per year, DOQ, plus full benefits. The qualified candidate will be responsible for drafting contracts, ordinances and resolutions, conducting civil trials and appellate litigation, serving as municipal court prosecutor, responding to citizens, representing the City at various public meetings, conducting legal research, preparing legal opinions, and providing general legal advice to City staff and officials. Juris Doctor from accredited law school and Colorado Bar membership required. One (1) to four (4) years municipal law experience preferred. Pre-employment drug test, physical and criminal background check required. Please submit City of Fort Morgan application cover letter, resume and three (3) references to City Attorney Jeff Wells in person at 100 Main St., by mail to P.O. Custodian
The City of Fort Morgan, CO is seeking candidates for a Custodian. $11.61 per hour, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week, late afternoon/evening shift, Monday-Friday. Performs custodial services for municipal buildings. Requires minimum one (1) year custodial experience and valid CO Driver's License. Police Officer
The City of Fort Morgan, CO is seeking candidates and accepting applications for Police Officers. $36,840 to $39,072 per year, DOQ; lateral transfer credits given.  Responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal ordinances, regulations, and laws. Includes employer-paid health, life and disability insurance, department-issued equipment, and take-home car. Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED, be at least 21 years of age, Colorado POST certifiable (must have already completed Police Academy), and possess a valid Colorado Drivers License. Seasonal / Part-time Positions 
The City of Fort Morgan is accepting applications for various Seasonal and Part-time Positions as listed below. Length of employment, pay rate, and hours worked depends on position. Pay rates listed are entry level; returning staff are eligible for additional steps on the seasonal pay scale.
