For emergencies that occur after normal business hours, please call the Utility Billing Office at (970) 867-4350. The Communications Center will answer and dispatch the employee on call for the Department.

Responsibilities
The Water Distribution Department is responsible for:

Maintaining the approximate 45 miles of distribution pipelines within the City that serve water to approximately 3,500 customers
Maintaining the 12-mile long transmission pipeline from the treatment facility to the City
Maintaining the wells that will continue to be used to irrigate the parks, schools, and cemetery
Maintaining the wastewater collection system within the City
