[ARCHIVED] Weekly Crime Alert

April 26, 2010
By Community Resource Officer Roger Doll
Vandalism to Vehicles

Earlier this month, officers were called to a vandalism of a vehicle in the 100 block of Main Street. The victim discovered the vehicle they were driving had two broken windows.

Shortly thereafter, relatives of the victim called from the 300 block of Cherry Street to report two additional vehicles had been vandalized in a similar manner. The original victim in the case disclosed that they had had an argument with a past acquaintance immediately preceding the vandalism reports and felt this person may have been involved in the damage to the vehicles.

Unfortunately there was no witness to the crime that could positively identify the perpetrator. Police have questioned a suspect by are asking that anyone who may have seen something come forward and speak with police.

The crimes occurred on April 3rd between 11:00 p.m. and midnight and the vehicles were parked in the 100 block of Main Street and the 300 block of Cherry Street.
