Law Enforcement Serves Up Special Olympics Fundraiser

The Fort Morgan Police Department is partnering with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office to protect and “serve” our community through a benefit fundraiser for Special Olympics Colorado.

Join your local law enforcement personnel at the Country Steak-Out on Friday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 9 p.m. and “Tip a Cop, Help an Athlete.”

Fort Morgan police officers and Morgan County deputies will be working with Special Olympic athletes at the restaurant to earn your tips (donations) for this cause. Don’t worry, you will still get the awesome service, food and drinks you expect from the Country Steak-Out’s wait staff.

Join us for a night of fun and good food while we support the Special Olympics of Colorado and raise money for these athletes. Special Olympics Colorado provides year-round sports training and competitions for people with intellectual disabilities starting as young as 2 years old.

All programs are free to athletes thanks in part to the fundraising efforts by Colorado law enforcement. Law enforcement is the largest grassroots fundraising organization for Special Olympics throughout the world.
