Cargill Contributes $4,000 to National Night Out

Cargill Meat Solutions of Fort Morgan recently contributed $4,000 toward the Fort Morgan Police Department’s National Night Out observance scheduled for Aug. 8.

Cargill General Manager Tyler Luft presented FMPD Chief of Public Safety Paul Schultz with the generous donation last week.

National Night is designed to build partnerships between police departments and their communities. Fort Morgan’s observance will be held in conjunction with the season-ending edition of Thursday Night Live! Downtown Fort Morgan on Thursday, Aug. 8, along Main Street downtown and in City Park.

National Night Out is celebrated annually in over 15,000 communities across the United States. In Fort Morgan National Night Out will include food vendors, live entertainment, informational booths and displays on Main Street, along with the final concert of the summer series with the Juke Joint Cruisers.

Chief Schultz is inviting all community members to join the police department on National Night Out for some positive interaction with Fort Morgan police officers.
