A new exhibit opening July 1 in the Fort Morgan Museum Lower Gallery will reveal some of the hidden treasures of the museum.
“Rarely Seen! Morgan County in 100 Artifacts” is a new display that features 100 items from museum storage, offering a wide variety of artifacts that the public rarely gets to view.
These artifacts include an 1868 map of military Fort Morgan, several Kachina dolls, a coin-operated vintage weight scale, a vintage railroad lantern, a 1950s table top tube radio, an outside Packard Motor Cars thermometer, and a land grant signed by President McKinley.
The new exhibit offers the public a chance to explore a hundred unique artifacts that have shaped our county.
“Rarely Seen!” opens July 1 and will run through Dec. 31. The display is open to the general public. Questions? Phone (970) 542-4011.
