The City of Fort Morgan is actively seeking a city resident to fill a vacancy on the city’s Planning Commission.
The new member appointed would fill the remainder of an existing term that will expire in April 2021. The new member could then apply for reappointment to a full six-year term.
The Planning Commission is currently very active in the process of development in the City of Fort Morgan, including the new fieldhouse project, a proposed housing development and other proposals. The commission has authority to review new developments, subdivisions, special use permits and other matters related to land use and development.
Planning Commission members serve six-year terms and must be residents of the city. Two vacancies also exist on the Library Advisory Board for three-year terms.
