Library Program Makes May Flowers Bloom

We’ve seen some April showers, now it’s time to make some May flowers.

Adults and young adults can learn how to make beautiful tissue and paper flowers during a special program on Saturday, May 8, at the Fort Morgan Public Library & Museum. The program led by library staffer Lisa Samples will run from 10 a.m. to noon in the Howard Rollin Memorial Community Room, and is first come first served.

This program is geared toward adults and young adults. There is a bit of coordination needed, Samples said, and the roses require the use of a hot glue gun.

The tissue paper flowers are the easier ones to create. For the roses, patrons will learn how to shape flower petals and then glue them together to create the stunning finished design.

If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Samples at 970-542-4003.
