[ARCHIVED] Weekly Crime Information Alert

Vandalism to Vehicle

A Public Service Announcement
By Community Resource Officer Roger Doll

Fort Morgan police are looking into the report of vandalism to a vehicle that resulted in approximately $900 in damage.

Police received the call on March 27th from the victim who said the vehicle was parked in the 800 block of Deuel Street. The owner first noticed several tires on the vehicle were flat around 4:00 am. When the owner returned later in the day to retrieve the vehicle they noticed scratches on the paint.

Someone had apparently only let the air out of the tires; however, they also caused significant scratches in the paint resulting in the damage. The vehicle’s owner was unable to provide the name of any suspects.

Police are looking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or who may have knowledge about the person responsible for the vandalism.

Anyone with information about this, or any other crime, is asked to call law enforcement at (970)867-5678.
