Nutrition Class Encourages Healthy Eating for Seniors

Seniors: Are you looking for a fun way to interact with others while also getting the latest nutrition and health information? When you join “Fresh Conversations,” you will participate in monthly discussions about important topics that affect your health.

Held monthly at the Gene Doty Senior Center, participants age 60+ meet to discuss the various benefits foods can provide in aiding health and in making smarter choices

Participants will receive a newsletter they can take with them that focuses on current health topics such as heart disease, diet trends, macular degeneration, and helpful tools to aid in preventing cancer or slowing it down.
