[ARCHIVED] Residential Burglary

Weekly Crime Information Alert
By Community Resource Specialist Roger Doll

Fort Morgan Police are investigating a burglary of a home that resulted in the theft of a game system and games valued at over one-thousand dollars.

An officer was called to a residence in the 500 block of Ensign Street for a report of a stolen X-Box 360 game system along with numerous games. Upon arrival, the officer discovered that an upstairs window had been broken which allowed the burglar to enter the residence.

It appears that the thief was only interested in the game system and games, as those were the only items taken. Nothing else was reported stolen. The victim appraised the value of the console and games at $1,650.

Along with the X-Box game console, one black controller, one clear controller, and numerous video games were stolen.

Police are following up leads and are asking anyone with information to call law enforcement at (970) 867-5678.

If a person with information wishes to remain anonymous they can call Crime Stoppers at (970) 542-3411 and may be eligible for a cash reward or submit your tip online.
