Fort Morgan Police are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in a storage shed on August 5 in the Landmark Trailer Park in Fort Morgan.

Police and fire officials were called to the 100 block of Brentwood Avenue, where a witness reported seeing smoke coming from a storage shed located on an empty lot.

Witnesses also observed three juveniles running from the area and believed they may have been involved with setting the fire. The blaze, which had been started using paper and straw, was quickly extinguished with no other damage reported.

Police would like to speak with witnesses who may have seen anyone in the area at the time of the fire, or may know who was involved. Anyone with information can call police at (970)867-5678.
