Fort Morgan Police are investigating an unusual case that started when they were called to assist a person wandering in the area of Railroad Avenue and Main Street. Officers received the call at 4:25 a.m. on October 2, 2011.
The apparent victim appeared to have been involved in a physical altercation, receiving injuries to his face that required medical treatment. The injuries were severe enough that the victim appeared confused, but he claimed that he had been attacked by two people.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment and later flown to a different hospital for further care. Police believe this person may be the victim of a serious assault and are seeking additional information.
The victim is described as Hispanic, and at the time of the assault was wearing blue jeans and a black pullover hoodie. He is 5’6” tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
