In addition to paying their bills, customers can also view their utility statements, check their account balances and compare their utility usage to prior billings. The city expects to have all 2012 statements available for customers to view soon.
It’s free to create a personal account with Xpress Bill Pay, and customers will receive a unique password that they’ll use to access their own account. Then they will receive an e-mail reminder every month to let them know when their latest bill is online.
A variety of payment options are available: customers can pay their bills with a credit or debit card, or transfer funds directly from a checking account. Or they can arrange for automatic payment of their bills each month, and receive an e-mail receipt to confirm that payments have gone through.
Even if customers don’t want to use the online payment options, Xpress Bill Pay is a convenient way to access your personal city utility account information.
Signing up for Xpress Bill Pay is easy, and can be done either by visiting www.xpressbillpay.com to set up a new account, or linking to the Xpress Bill Pay website from the city’s website at www.cityoffortmorgan.com. Under “Utilities” on the red bar across the top of the city home page, look for “Payment of Utility Bills.”
