For the first time, the City of Fort Morgan’s Summer Concert Series will be held on the stage of the new Dahms-Talton Band Shell in City Park. The 2014 “Live @ The Park” concerts start June 5 and run for seven Thursday evenings throughout June and July.
The opening concert in the series will feature Buckstein, whose leading man, Matt Buckstein, was on “American Idol” in 2005 and 2006. Buckstein is listed as No. 5 on Denver’s A-List of local bands, and has frequently appeared at the Grizzly Rose.
The free summer concerts generally run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and many residents bring lawn chairs, blankets, food and other gear as they enjoy the outdoor entertainment on the sprawling lawn of the park.
