The City of Fort Morgan’s Summer Concert Series will continue through July on the stage of the new Dahms-Talton Band Shell in City Park. The 2014 “Live @ The Park” concerts started June 5 and run for seven Thursday evenings throughout June and July.
The opening concert in the series featured popular Denver country band Buckstein and drew a good crowd. The next show on June 12 will be Celtic acoustic group Skean Dubh.
The free summer concerts generally run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and many residents bring lawn chairs, blankets, food and other gear as they enjoy the outdoor entertainment on the sprawling lawn of the park.
