City Softens Impact of Rapidly Rising Natural Gas Prices

Natural gas prices have been rising and are projected to continue to climb. The City of Fort Morgan wants customers to know of potential higher natural gas bills this winter and remind them to be as efficient as possible to lower heating costs.

City Light & Power to Rebuild US 34 Electric Line

The City of Fort Morgan Light and Power Department next week will be rebuilding the power line from Alco Road west along US Highway 34 to County Road 17.

New Museum Exhibit Features Works of Howard Rollin

The works of a local artist acclaimed for his watercolor paintings of birds are featured in the new Lower Gallery Exhibit at the Fort Morgan Museum.

Artist C. Howard Rollin (1909-1983) grew up on his family’s homestead in Wildcat Canyon near Weldona. He lived in Morgan County for 70 years, starting in 1912.
