City Cemetery to Start Spring Cleanup Soon

The Fort Morgan Cemetery will be starting its annual Spring Cleanup on Monday, March 11. Cemetery patrons are asked to remove all decorations not secured to the foundation of gravesites in the cemetery by Sunday, March 10.

Per City of Fort Morgan Cemetery policy, any decorations or other items remaining in the grass around the foundation of the gravesite after that date will be removed and disposed of by cemetery personnel.  This includes any wreaths, wreath blanke...

A vacancy for an unexpired term on the Fort Morgan Planning Commission remains unfilled and the city is seeking applicants who reside in the city limits to apply.

Veteran Claim Filing at Gene Doty Senior Center March 16

Veterans who need to file claims for veteran compensation can do so during a session hosted by Gene Doty Chapter 41 of the Disabled American Veterans on Saturday, March 16.

The session will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gene Doty Senior Center, 307 Linda St.
