Annual Free Barbecue for Utilities Week Set Oct. 5

The City of Fort Morgan is again celebrating Utilities Week during the first full week in October to recognize the value of the municipal utilities owned and operated by the City: electric, gas, water, sewer and trash service.

The city invites all residents to the annual Utilities Week Barbecue on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the new Fort Morgan Fieldhouse located at 1239 E. Kiowa Ave.

DIY Anti-Inflammatory Workshop for Seniors Sept. 29

The Gene Doty Senior Center will host a Do-It-Yourself Anti-Inflammatory Workshop in the afternoon on Thursday, Sept. 29.

Older and Wiser, But Are You 'Money Smart'?

The Gene Doty Senior Center will host a community presentation for seniors called “Money Smart,” an Older Adults & Caregivers Financial Education program presented by Golden Belt Bank on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

This free presentation will educate seniors on ways to be cautious and aware about common fraud techniques that are often targeting older residents. Scammers are known to target bank accounts and assets, making you and your accounts vulnerable.
