The City of Fort Morgan is accepting sealed bids for 2018 HBP Paving and Chipseal Projects until 4:00 p.m. (our clock) on March 8, 2018 at City Hall located at 110 Main Street, Fort Morgan, CO 80701. Please review the complete Request for Bids, and Addendum No. 1, in the related documents section below.

Project Summary: This project generally consists of full width mill (3”) of existing pavement, installation of stabilizing mat and installation of hot bituminous pavement (HBP) on: 
Project A – Railroad Avenue:  West Street – Sherman Street 
Project B –Barlow Road: Platte Avenue (SH34) – I76 Ramps - excluding the concrete intersection of Barlow Road and Riverview Avenue 
Project C – Eighth Avenue:  Sherman Street – East End
Project D – Ensign Street:  Platte Avenue (SH 34) – 7th Street

This project generally consists of full width asphalt removal (3” to 5” deep), installation of flyash subgrade stabilization and installation of HBP on: 
Project E – Gayle Street:  Meng Drive – Ram Avenue
Project F – Meng Drive:  Gayle Street – Cherry Street

This project generally consists of installation of application of polymerized emulsified asphalt, cover coat aggregate called chip seal followed by fog seal (chip seal) on: 
Project G – 7th Avenue:  West Street – Main Street (SH52)
Project H – Cheyenne Street:  Arapahoe Street – Comanche Street
Project I – Aspen Street:  Gateway Avenue – Burlington Avenue
Project J – Riverview Avenue:  Vickie Street – Barlow Road

Projects A and C are anticipated to have water mainline replacements prior to the paving projects proceeding. Additional HBP installation is required to repair the trench and is included in the bid schedule. (Listed as projects A-1 and C-1).  Concrete work associated with all of these projects is being contracted separately, unless otherwise noted, and is not included in this work.

Pre-Bid Meeting:
mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the City Complex located at 710 E. Railroad Avenue. All prospective bidders must attend the pre-bid meeting in order for the City to accept their bid.

Special Requirements:
Bids must be properly signed, and any bid addendums acknowledged, by an authorized representative of the company with the legal capacity to bind the company to the contractual agreement. In addition, the authorized representative's signature of the Proposal assures the company's understanding of the City's Procurement Policy. Only Bids properly received will be accepted.
