Other Museums

The Fort Morgan Museum would like you to visit other museums in the region. A great place to start is the Colorado Wyoming Association of Museums (CWAM) website. Some of our favorite museums in the area include the Overland Trail Museum in Sterling and the Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne.

The Grasslands

The Pawnee National Grasslands is just north of Fort Morgan. In fact, Fort Morgan is the starting point for the Pawnee Pioneer Parkway that goes through the Grasslands. The Grasslands is a wonderful multi-use facility that offers camping and some of the best bird watching in the nation.

Jackson Lake

Do you enjoy fishing and boating along with your camping? Then Jackson Lake is the place for you.

I-76 Speedway

Is high octane fuel more your style? Then visit the I-76 Speedway. This local track runs 4-6 divisions every Saturday during the summer.
