Code Enforcement Officers

The Code Enforcement Officer (CEO) and the Community Engagement Technician (CET) for the City of Fort Morgan are under the direct supervision of the Administrative Sergeant.
 
 The responsibilities for the CEO include locating and identifying violations of the City Code of Fort Morgan within the City limits. The duties include enforcement of animal control, parking violations, weed and snow removal, refuse violations, watering violations, and other code violation when needed. In addition to identifying violations, the CEO will assist in traffic control at public gatherings, traffic accidents and other emergency scenes.

The responsibilities of the CET include locating and identifying violations of the City Code of Fort Morgan within the City limits. The duties include enforcement of animal control, parking violations, weed and snow removal, refuse violations, watering violations, and other code violation when needed. In addition to identifying violations, the CET will also assist investigations with processing crime scenes and processing evidence, assist in traffic control at public gatherings, investigate traffic accidents and other emergency scenes.
