Meyers Earns Award as 2018 Outstanding City Attorney

Fort Morgan City Attorney Jason Meyers was recognized as the Outstanding City Attorney for 2018 by the Metro City Attorney’s Association this week.

Kris Kringle Cookie Exchange Dec. 20 at Senior Center

The annual Kris Kringle Cookie Exchange is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Fort Morgan Senior Center.

Seniors are encouraged to bring a plate full of homemade cookies or candy, along with the recipe for their chosen dessert.  Recipes and desserts will be shared at the party and participants will vote for the best treat!

Suspect in Murdoch's Shooting Arrested

A man identified as the suspect in a shooting at the Murdoch’s store in Fort Morgan last month has been arrested, according to Fort Morgan Police.

Kyle Werch, 25, was arrested recently outside the Morgan County area by the U.S. Marshal’s Office. Werch was identified as the man who fired shots at Murdoch’s employees as the vehicle in which he was riding left the store area. Werch ...

With cold weather settling in, the Fort Morgan Recreation Department is moving its pickleball program indoors, and everyone is invited to participate.
