Fort Morgan Electric Rates Again Lowest in Colorado

Fort Morgan still has the lowest residential electric rates in Colorado, according to the July 2020 annual rate survey conducted by the Colorado Association of Municipal Utilities.

Fort Morgan also boasts the lowest electric rates among municipalities in the state for small commercial and large commercial customers. The city’s rates for industrial customers are the second-lowest in Colorado.

The Fort Morgan Library & Museum is offering a new challenge for patrons to create their own art and submit photos of it for display in a Patron Art Showcase in the library.

Rec Center Launching 'Tiny Tot Adventure Hour' Sept. 14

Tiny Tot Adventure Hour is a new program for children ages 3 and 4 and their parents, to be launched Sept. 14 by the Fort Morgan Recreation Department.

The sessions will be held Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Armory Recreation Center. The children will do activities with the help of their parent(s) to improve motor skill development.

More Kids' Sports Camps Set for September

The City of Fort Morgan Recreation Department will be hosting four more sports camps for kids 5-12 years old, starting Sept. 8.

The different camps include baseball, kickball, dodgeball, and stickball.

The one-hour sessions will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 8 through Oct. 1 at 4 p.m. at Riverside Park. Each day will be for a different age group, so kids ...
