The Fort Morgan Public Library is excited to announce a new literacy and educational resource for caregivers! “Brain Boxes” are geared toward children as young as infants up to preschool age.

Summer Water Main Work to Start June 13

The City of Fort Morgan has scheduled the first phases of its 2022 water main replacement work, which will involve traffic disruptions and water outages starting next week.

Bison Activities for Kids at Museum on Art Walk Dates

Join Museum Educator Kathleen Byrne in the Museum Lower Gallery for an interactive archaeology program during the monthly Downtown Fort Morgan Art Walks in June and July.

Traveling Bison Hunting Exhibit Stops in Fort Morgan

An exhibit showcasing prehistoric bison hunting practices and the importance of the bison to Native Americans is coming soon to the Fort Morgan Public Library and Museum.

City to Cease Electrical Permits, Inspections July 1

Effective July 1, 2022, the City of Fort Morgan will no longer issue electrical permits or conduct inspections of electrical work done by contractors or homeowners.

After June 30, contractors and homeowners will need to apply with the State of Colorado for any electrical permits that are required for electrical work being conducted, and to arrange for inspections of work performed.
