'Night at the Museum' is Family Movie Night Feature

“Night at the Museum” will be the featured film when the Fort Morgan Library and Museum hosts Family Movie Night in the lower gallery Tuesday, Dec.17, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

There will be hot chocolate, marshmallows, popcorn and even a small craft for all who attend. Make sure to bring your jammies, pillows, blankets and whatever else you need to stay warm and cozy during the movie.

Kris Kringle Cookie Exchange Dec. 19 at Senior Center

The popular annual Kris Kringle Cookie Exchange is set for Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Fort Morgan Senior Center (110 Sherman Street).

The party starts at 2 p.m. Seniors are encouraged to bring a plate full of homemade cookies or candy, along with the recipe for their chosen dessert. Recipes and desserts will be shared at the party and participants will vote for the best treat!! ...

Twenty years ago, on Dec. 9, 1999, the City of Fort Morgan began operation of its new Water Treatment Plant and started treating and providing high-quality, Colorado-Big Thompson water to the citizens and businesses of the city.
